Thursday saw the start of the final Major of the year at Whistling Straits Golf Club. All the best players in the world are playing including the return of Rory McIlroy after his ankle injury. After the first round Dustin Johnson once against held the lead with a score of 6 under; How many times have we said that this year?  There are quite a few hot on his heels however and with Spieth and McIlroy on 1 under he has some serious competition on his hands. The golf course is a very interesting one with over 900 bunkers on the course. It will be great to see who can avoid the bunkers and lift the trophy on Sunday. 



 

Last weekend we saw some fantastic scoring especially in the August Medal. Congratulations to Richard Jones who won his division with a nett 59!
