The draw for this year's Summer Knockouts is on Monday, so please ensure that you have paid your entrance fees by this weekend. Anyone that fails to do so will not be entered in to the draw.

The Monday Mixed Social starts again on the 7th April at 5pm. This is a very friendly mixed 9 hole competition that is open to all members. The competition is very well supported by the Ladies but we do need some more men to participate. If you are interested in playing there is a signup sheet in the club house for you to enter.

If you haven't already booked in to this competition make sure you check the online booking sheet as there are still some spaces at the end of the competition for anyone that would like to play. The course is open after 3pm for general play.

Josh and I both took teams to play in the Shropshire and Herefordshire Alliance at Worfield on Wednesday. We had a great day with brilliant weather combined with a great golf course. Well done to Josh who finished 4th in the professional event and to Peter Hanlon and Tom Kerr who finished 4th and 3rd, respectively, in the individual amateur competition.

With The Masters fast approaching we are going to be starting our shop sweepstake today in the shop. If you want to take part then please come and see us in the shop.

We have some NEW STOCK in the shop which has resulted in a lot of interest from the members. The new D.N.A .shoe from FootJoy, pictured left, has been receiving a lot of attention. Please call into the shop to take a look at this, and the rest of the impressive new FootJoy range.  

The Senior Coaching sessions continue to be a success. Below are the dates for the remaining sessions:
Wednesday 2nd April - 10.30 till 11.30 - Hitting woods long, true & straight 
Wednesday 9th April - 10.30 till 11.30 - Bunker shots and lob shots

We will be starting our Ladies Coaching sessions on Tuesday 8th April from 9.30 till 10.30. The first session will be covering chipping. The sessions will cost £7 per person, please register in the pro shop.
