Closed for now
I hope you are all keeping safe and well during what we hope is the final lockdown before we can all start getting our lives back to some sort of normality. Staying healthy and protecting each other is definitely still the priority, but being golfers the occasional game would be good for our well being. Golf has stopped in the Uk except for Scotland, various groups including MPs are lobbying for a change to allow golf in England to continue, but unfortunately despite the petition for golf gaining over 1000,000 we can’t see this happening until mid-February at the absolute earliest. Stay safe, keep in touch and we look forward to seeing you all soon. |
Some course TLC The course and practice ground has dried out since Christmas and Dan with his team are getting the course in shape ready for golfers to return. Over the Christmas period, the pro shop tried to keep things operating as usual but unfortunately, the practice ground became so wet that every ball was plugging, the ball collector was sinking in the mud. And at one point, even we also sunk! Dan has since spiked the practice area and much of the water had drained away so hopefully going forward this process should assist with the drainage when we return.

New Products for 2021 Many golf manufactures are continuing to launch their new products ready for 2021.
The pro shop has been receiving new products and are taking orders. If you are interested in any new products please click here and leave a message and we will get back to you. Or you can forward any questions or products that you are interested in, just message shrewsburyproshop@live.co.uk.

Winter package lessons
In the run up to Christmas the pro shop sold many Winter lesson packages that were due to expire in April, these will now not expire and can be used up until September 2021. |
Stock Shortages
In the run-up to Christmas, there were some products which were not available in the Uk. Titleist running out of golf balls was a surprising one! As far as I know, suppliers are catching up, Motocaddy also had an empty warehouse, but the pro shop has just received this year's pre-book of trollies. Currently, we have a good stock of the Motocaddy cube, Motocaddy M5 GPS trolley and the S1. Please click below if you would like to reserve any Motocaddy products ready for the new season - they're sure to sell out fast! |
