Pro's news

Returning to Golf

It is great news that we can get back to playing golf from next Wednesday.

The tee time booking sheets are now open and currently running as pre lockdown, you can book up to 4 players per tee time, tee sheets are open for bookings at 8pm, 8 days in advance.

Tee times will be in demand especially if we continue to enjoy some winter sunshine so please if you have booked a time and find out that you cannot play please cancel your booking I am sure other members will be grateful for the opportunity to play.

Pro Shop and Black Friday

The Pro Shop will be reopen fully from Wednesday 8am till 4.30pm.

During lockdown I am still picking up messages and responding to emails. Thank you to all the members who have been contacting me to order products for them.

Black Friday is currently being heavily promoted if you see any products or special offers that you are interested please forward to john@johnrichardsgolf.com and we will try and beat the offer.

I will try and get back to you with an instant response on any products you are interested in.

Christmas Gift Vouchers

For those of you who are not sure what you would like as a Christmas gift, the pro shop does send out gift vouchers to friends and family to purchase.

Masters Free Golf Lesson

Congratulations to Chris Edwards who won a free lesson after predicting Dustin Johnsons Masters win.

Dustin was not the most popular choice a large majority of members went for Jon Rahm to win.

Pederson's clean sweep

A new, unique golf tournament is always something to celebrate, but nobody was celebrating the inaugural Saudi Ladies Team International more than Denmark’s Emily Kristine Pederson.

Following on from a playoff win over Georgia Hall at the previous week’s Aramco Saudi Ladies International (also a first-time event), Pederson claimed both the individual and team titles for a three-trophy ‘Saudi Sweep’ over two weeks. Not bad going, eh?

With these exciting new tournaments and innovations in the world of golf - in addition to what's set to be a fantastic 2021 with the Solheim Cup and Ryder Cup - what better time to get in touch and discuss some coaching packages ahead of next year?
