Lady Captain’s Day - 18th July 2018 The Lady Captain’s Day competition was held on Wednesday 18th July when 61 ladies played in the 18 hole stableford competition and 14 ladies played in the 9 hole stableford competition. What a fantastic day of golf for all, producing some excellent and very close scores. Thank you to Lady Captain Monica for the event, for the gift to each of us at the first tee of a pair of socks, for providing the very welcome ‘half way house’ where we were treated to drinks and cakes, and for organising a supper at the prize giving in the evening. The course was in excellent condition – thank you to Dan and his team – and of course the sun shone for us all day. How easily we forget the wet winter and expect it to be sunny every day of the summer! The supper was enjoyed very much by everyone and our thanks go to David and his team and to the bar staff for all their hard work. Congratulations to all our prize winners:
