Welcome to another edition of our newsletter, this week we have results from our Valentines mixed, we have reduced our Titleist woods, and we have new arrivals in the shop. Enjoy the read!

Ladies competition

The Ladies 18 hole 3 ball Stableford competition was abandoned this week due to the inclement weather.

Seniors coaching

Seniors coaching begins on the 28th of February, please sign up in the Pro shop if you want to join in. The first session will focus on hitting woods long and straight. These sessions will take place on Wednesday morning with one group starting at 10.00am and the second group starting at 11.00 am.

Price reduction

Titleist have heavily reduced the price of their woods, in order to be more competitive with other brands.

The 917 Driver has been reduced down to £299 from £449.

The 917 Fairway woods have come down to £199 from £279.

Finally, the 917 H1/H2’s have been reduced down to £179 from £254.

Titleist woods are extremely reliable and perform well for all players. Feel free to come down and test the 917 woods our call the Pro shop to book a fitting.

New stock arrivals

We have received some great new products for the 2018 season please call into the pro shop and book a fitting with the new drivers.

Mizuno woods - We are now stocking the new mizuno ST180 and GT180 woods. The GT180 is the most adjustable driver on the market and both clubs are high launching low spinning offering increased distance and faster ball speeds. We have a range of shafts in stock to try to help fit members.

TaylorMade woods - We now also have in stock the new M3 and M4 woods. TaylorMade are using new technology called twist face meaning off centred strikes still are less wayward. The new drivers have a larger sweet spot but also it produces a straight flight on a off centre hit using the twist face technology.

Mothering Sunday Lunch

David Atkinson our new chef has been providing the golf club with excellent meals since he joined us in June last year, and has produced an exciting three course menu for Mother’s Day. Have a look at what is on offer on the extensive menu in the clubhouse.
