Away Results
Well done to Tom Kerr who last weekend finished 3rd at Hawkstone Park in the Shropshire and Herefordshire Boys Championship. I am pleased for Tom who works tirelessly on his game all year round to try and achieve results like this one. Hopefully he can continue this good form in to future competitions.

Josh and I have been busy coaching the members and have also been looking to recruit some more future members. Last night we had a visit from the local Brownies who all had a fantastic evening. Thank you to Richard Beason our Junior organiser and Larissa Jones who helped to supervise and enthuse some new budding golfers.
Beginners Ladies Golf (Tuesday Evening 6.30 till 7.30)

Junior Academy (Friday evenings 4.30 start)
The junior academy evening caters for all standards, the aim is to try and give the young golfers the skills to get out on the course and enjoy the challenge of playing some holes. The course is reserved for these young players after the coaching to give them the opportunity to experience playing the course.
Open Championship
We would like to wish Ashley Chesters from Hawkstone Park golf club the best of luck next week at Royal Liverpool. Ashley qualified after winning the European amateur championship and has been in great form this year doing well in many events. (If you see him look out for Ricky Pharo who is carrying his tour bag)
