Ladies Captain's Day
Congratulations to Linda Mottram for organising such a good day on Wednesday for the Shrewsbury Ladies. Linda put so much time and effort into the day and was rewarded with some fantastic weather. The day was well supported with over 80 ladies taking part in the competition, with a few more ladies joining in the afternoon social occasion.

Senior's Veterans Trophy
The Senior's Veterans trophy attracted a full field yesterday. Congratulation to Grenville Watson who won the event with an impressive 42 points. Well done Andy Gordon who came to me a few months ago feeling that he had lost a little confidence in his golf, with a few purposeful practice sessions and focusing on a couple of ideas he has managed to bounce back with 37 points yesterday to finish 2nd in his division.
