Mixed foursomes is a testing competition but we had 2 pairings who fired two impressive nett 69s to beat the rest of the field comfortably. Congratulations to Ray Sant & Lesley Hyne and Chris Edwards & Marion Adams who will compete in a playoff for the trophy. 3rd place went to Nick Baker and Mair Harris, scoring nett 76.

Seniors Coaching

Yesterday we held our last session of this series of group lessons. The topic was pitching from 30 to 100 yards. We covered all the main points of trying to control the ball, through to getting into a better impact position. 

The group all made huge improvements with their pitching technique as they started to synchronise the movement better through using more body rotation. 

Congratulations to Iain Gilmour who won the competition for the best pitch from 80 yards. Thank you to all the seniors who attended these sessions during the past couple of months.

Ladies Group Coaching

The seniors coaching have been very well-supported and I have been asked by a couple of ladies to offer the same to the ladies. But trying to find a time to suit our busy ladies seems to be a problem.
