With the clocks changing and the temperature dropping it is starting to feel like winter is around the corner. After a very dry October we manged to delay the introduction of Winter Rules. But as from yesterday the Club has now introduced winter rules with preferred lies on all closely mown areas.
This weekend we have a Winter Shotgun Competition starting at 8.30am. It is great to see a very full field of approx. 100 players and the draw for this event can be seen on the Club website.
Please check on the Golf Club website for upcoming events. Next Friday 11th is Prize Night and tickets are on sale for the Christmas Party and New Year's Eve Party. Please speak to the bar staff for more details.
Hargrove Results. By Tom Kerr
The A team won 2.5 - 0.5 and 6 holes up at home against Shifnal B. A solid performance from MartynTravis and NickEvans resulted in a comfortable 4 up win.
The new partnership of TomKerr and MarkCorfield won a tight match 2 up leaving BarryRuddick and SeanMcCarthy to earn a well fought halve after making birdie to win the last hole.
Unfortunatley the B team lost 3-0 and 23 holes down against a very strong Ludlow A side. Good luck to both teams in the return leg.

Motocaddy Trolleys
Motocaddy trolleys have continued to be very reliable this year and have now captured over 60% of the whole electric trolley market. Their biggest selling trolley is the S1 which has retailed for £299 with a lead battery and £399 with a lithium battery.
